Story of two friends:
walking through a desert. During
some part of the journey they had an
argument, and one friend slapped the
other one on the face. The one who
got slapped was hurt, but not without
saying anything, wrote in the sand
" Today my best friend slapped me on my face"
They kept walking until they found an
oasis, where they decided to take a
bath. The one who had been slapped
got struck in the mire and started
drowning, but her friend saved her.
After her recovery bshe wrote on a
stone :
"Today my best friend saved my life".
The friend who had slapped and saved
her best friend asked her :
"After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand
and now, you wrote on a stone. Why???"
The other one replied, "when someone
hurt us we should write it down in
sand, where wind of forgiveness can
erase it away but we must engrave
our gratitude in stone where no wind
can ever erase it."
A sweet poem for my friends:
Somehow in this great Big World,
I found my way to you.
My friend across the computer lines,
My heart, my soul, that's who.
You try to make me smile,
With the mail you send my way.
You never fail to drop a line,
Each and every day.
Whenever I have hurried home,
With something, I must share.
I find it just so comforting,
That you are always there.
Encouragement you give me,
And a friendship, that is true.
I am glad my soul while reaching out,
Found someone like you.
"The best of friends can change a frown,
Into smile when you feel down.
The best of friends will understand,
Your little trials and lend a hand.
The best of friend will always share,
Your secret dreams because they care."
"The best of friends worth more than gold.
They give all the love, a heart can hold."
